Power Apple Slices

Apples are a great snack, but when you top them with nut butter and seeds, they become a protein and fibre packed snack that is perfect for any time of the day. Be sure to keep the peel on for even more fibre!

Serving Size: 1 apple

Ingredients

  • 1 apple, with peel on
  • 2.5 tbsp. nut butter
  • 1 tsp. sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tsp. hemp hearts
  • 1 tbsp. dried, unsweetened cranberries 

Directions

  1. Core apple using corer, if you have one and then slice in 5-6 rounds. If you don’t have a corer, just slice the apple and then cut out the core of each slice.
  2. Top the apple slices with your favorite nut butter, and sprinkle on top the sunflower seeds, chia seeds, hemp hearts and cranberries.
