This maple Dijon dressing pairs well with nearly any type of salad (especially this Festive Holiday Salad) and also makes the perfect tangy dip or marinade. It can be whipped up in no time and stored in the fridge for a couple of days. The best part about making your own salad dressing? You get to control what goes into it! Just give it a good stir before drizzling over your favourite salad.
Recipe makes approximately 2-4 servings
Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. Pure Maple syrup
1 tsp. Dijon mustard (Maille preferred)
2 Tbsp. Apple Cider vinegar
½ cup olive oil
1 tsp. Lemon juice (fresh preferred)
1 tsp. Chopped fresh thyme (dried also does the trick)
1 minced clove garlic (or jarred)
2 Tbsp. Minced shallot (or green onion bulb)
Recipe Directions:
Combine all ingredients and serve immediately over your favourite salad.
