PB and banana…could there be a better combo?! We think not :). This breakfast is perfect when you’re in a pinch. Don’t skip out on the peanut butter (or nut butter of your choice) — it makes the oatmeal super creamy and adds a hint of protein and healthy fats.
Yield: 1 serving
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 2 minutes
Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1/3 cup oatmeal
2/3 cup milk of your choice
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tbsp walnuts
1 tbsp flaxseed (ground)
Instructions
Add milk and oatmeal together in bowl and microwave for 2 minutes
Mash up banana. Add peanut butter to oatmeal
As peanut butter melts mix throughout oatmeal, add flaxseed and walnuts to oatmeal and mix together.
Add banana to oatmeal and mix well. Add additional milk as desired and enjoy!
